Car-pe Diem

Car-pe Diem!

The old steam powered lift that brought cars to their floor.

The Stairs of Death (no, seriously).

The last pic in this series is this shot from the street.

Im looking serious here b/c of the experience on the S of D(no joke).

Oh, also, it was a parking garage. Old steam powered elevator brought cars up and down. Building is unsafe especially the stairs and adjoining warehouse.

ok, i looked over these great photos carefully. I think I now know the location. well, I have two spots in my mind.

also, the pic of the cars made me think of the "Pagen driving School" cars I use to see up in Wasgington Heights, walking down bway.

always wondered who would take lessons from a place called "pagen"
