Aloft Also Rises

Topping off this week, Aloft casts its shadow over Harlem at 12 stories.

Harlem Rat

As progress continues on the Aloft site, some carpenters are upset about the use of non-union labor on this job. All politics aside, the rat is kinda cool, although in these tough times, Unions have to be flexible if they are to survive.
My criticism of the site is not so much the use of unions, as much as the lack of African-American workers on the site. From what I can see they are either white, or Central American.
